Buea United FC generates Millions ahead of 2024 National Interpools

Buea United FC, the 2024 champions of the Southwest Regional League of FECAFOOT and 2024 national interpools flag bearers have raised 3,850,000 FCFA as part of preparations for the National Interpools scheduled for next month in Yaoundé.

The support scheme, which is an outcome of the elite two elevation fund raising that took place in Buea on July 26, 2024.

A high point of the donation exercise, which saw goodwill donations from fan club, and sympathizers, was the sum of 845,000 FCFA from multiple donors spearheaded by the Southwest Regional bureau of FECAFOOT.

The ceremony was graced with the presents of the Governor of the southwest region, Director of Nasla, President of FECAFOOT in the Southwest region Ndazeh Valery and others was a massive step towards preparing the team for the interpools.

President Kadji Valery appreciated the donors and pledged to his team and promised to do everything within its power to bring an elite ticket from the competition as has been the case in the past two seasons.

Coach Agbor Emmanuel, the team’s Coach, gave a warm speech, stating that the boys started at a tender age, with most of them getting their first licenses at the club. He also mentioned that the boys were the champions of the under-17 champions league in 2022 and are now matured to become champions of every competition they embark in.

The team’s captain promised their fans and supporters that they will bring home the elite two trophy, just as they have presented the mini I’m trophy.

Buea United is drawn in Group B alongside champions from the West, Adamaoua, South and North Regions.
