Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo has been awarded Brentford’s Player of the Month for September, as announced on the club’s social media on October 4, 2024.

The post celebrated his explosive start to the Premier League season, highlighting, “Starting the Premier League campaign in top form 🔥 Bryan Mbeumo is the Aosom ‘Player of the Month’ for September 👏🇨🇲.”

The 25-year-old winger has hit the ground running with five goals in six league outings, including a sensational strike just 23 seconds into the match against Spurs on September 21.

In addition to his early goal against Spurs, Mbeumo continued his scoring streak with another quickfire goal just 38 seconds into the match against West Ham on September 28.

His early goals have helped Brentford set a record as the first team to score in the opening minute of consecutive matches.

With over 104 appearances for the Bees since joining in 2019, Mbeumo has established himself as a key player, with 49 goals contributions overall.

After overcoming injury setbacks last season, he is now pivotal to Brentford’s campaign, which sees them currently sitting 12th in the table with seven points ahead of their clash against Wolves on Saturday.
