Swiss coach, Nora Häuptle has been appointed as the Head Coach of the Ghana senior Women’s national team.
Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirmed her appointment in a statement on its website.
“Nora Häuptle has been appointed as the Head Coach of the senior women’s national team – known as Black Queens.
“The 39-year-old former Swiss International is a product of the University of Bern where she attained her Masters in Sports Science and Minor in Theatre Sciences.”
Häuptle has a UEFA Pro License certificate and has previously worked as an instructor for the Swiss Football Association.
She replaced former Black Queens player, Mercy Tahoe.
The new coach will be assisted by Joyce Boatey-Agyei and Aboagye Dacosta.
