Bamboutos FC forward Edjenguele Patrice, plus African Football Academie winger Eddy Same and ex -Aigle Royal of Menoua defender Essaka Arnel have suffered a ghastly Car accident on Sunday, August 13 around the Bikoko neighborhood while returning from an interquarters competition in Dibombari.
Edjenguele who was rushed to the Laquintini Hospital is in the intensive care unit for treatment after early reports have it that he suffered a double vertebrae fracture.
Same who is also at Laquintini is reportedly out of danger while Essaka is receiving medical attention at the Bonassama Hospital with particular attention on his broken left leg.
Reports suggest Edjenguele who is most affected risk not returning to the field of play again due to the nature of his injury. The Cameroon U-20 international burst unto the scene last year when he scored the lone goal for Bamboutos FC’s 1-0 win against Cotonsport to earn the Cameroon Super cup trophy for the first time in their history.
All three players are getting maximum medical support in order to achieve full recovery.
