Experienced football administrator Bashir Badawiy has expressed happiness following his return to Kwara United as General Manager.
The Ira born administrator left the Harmony Boys before the commencement of the ongoing NPFL season after working hard for three solid seasons.
During his first stint as GM, Kwara United finished among the top four and eventually campaigned in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Badawiy who has been working with Remo Stars made it clear that he is excited for his return to Kwara United stressing that he is ready to help the team succeed.
“I am very happy to be back, I am a Kwaran and always ready to serve my State. I have missed everyone, the fans, the Supporters, the media, staff and the players.
“I want to thank His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman for the trust he has in me by bringing me back to the team and thanks also goes to my dear brother, Ambassador Yahaya Seriki. Thanks also to the management of Kwara United for welcoming me back.
“Remo Stars is among the top teams in Nigeria and I would have loved to win the League with them, but home calling is important as I must return and start my duty.
“I am currently in Lagos for Remo Stars’ match against Sporting Lagos and I will from here move straight to join my team,” Badawiy explained.
Meanwhile, Kwara United who have not been finding it rosy this term in the NPFL will tackle Enugu Rangers on Sunday in Enugu.
