Giants AS Kigali beat Kayonza WFC 3#0 in their last league encounter of the season to clinch their record 13th Women’s league title.
Midfielder Alodie Kayitesi ,Zawadi Usanase and Libelle Nibagwire were on target to get the job done.
The victory saw Kigali finish top of the league table one point behind Inyemera.
AS Kigali now become the latest club to qualify for the CAF Women’s Champions league Qualifiers in the CECAFA region.
They join Buja Queens ( Burundi) ,New Generation (Zanzibar) ,and Kampala Queens ( Uganda).
The Queens from Rwanda finished in the fourth position at the last edition in Tanzania.
It should noted that Uganda are hosts for this year’s Zonal Qualifiers , scheduled to take place from 12th – 26th August.
