Just as he did in Elite Two, Arrey Jefta Oduak marked his Elite One debut with a goal on Sunday, helping Dynamo FC come from behind to defeat Fortuna at the Bepanda Omnisport Stadium. Starting the match for Dynamo, the young forward grew into the game and delivered his most decisive contribution after the break.

Dynamo fell behind early after Fortuna opened the scoring, putting pressure on the home side. Despite enjoying spells of possession, Dynamo struggled to break down a well-organized Fortuna side during the first half, with clear chances proving difficult to come by.

Oduak, who had been largely contained before halftime, came alive in the second half. Showing improved movement and confidence, he found the equalizer and swung the momentum in Dynamo’s favor, energizing both his teammates and the crowd.

The goal brought back memories of his Elite Two debut with ISOHSA against Panthère, when he also found the net under the guidance of coach Soh Simplice. Once again, the coach’s faith in the forward was rewarded as Dynamo seized control of the match and went on to complete the comeback.

The victory provides a timely lift for Dynamo in their Elite One campaign, while Oduak’s performance reinforces his reputation as a player who rises to the occasion. Having now scored on his debut in both Elite Two and Elite One, the forward has given himself a strong platform to build on at the top level.
