Angu Lesley Ngwa Akonwi, a renowned Cameroonian sports journalist has been appointed as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) media officer for the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024. This marks his third consecutive assignment at the tournament, following his successful stints in 2020 and 2022.

With a proven track record of working on various CAF events, including the Africa Cup of Nations and the CAF Champions League, Lesley is well-equipped to handle the demands of the CHAN tournament.
The TotalEnergies CHAN 2024 promises to be an exciting edition, with Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda co-hosting the tournament for the first time in history. The competition is set to showcase the best talent from domestic leagues across the continent, with 19 teams competing for the continental crown.
