Gonbara and Mbaizo were on target in the semi final of the second edition of the United Cup as the Cameroon National Football Academy (ANAFOOT) selection recorded a 2-0 win against Kadji Sports Academy (KSA).

The team led by coaches Nicolas Asongu and Nlend Aime made famous KSA second best all afternoon as they continue their scintillating run in the tournament.

Donlap, who won 1-0 against Options Sports Academy the previous day entered the contest with hopes of stopping the ANAFOOT team that had edged Fondation Tafi their own last outing, but it wasn’t to be.

Gonbara and Mbaizo scored in each half to end KSA’s hopes of getting to the final while they book a final appearance for themselves.

ANAFOOT have Donlap Academy on their plate in the final of the tournament at 10 AM this Easter Sunday.

The latest edition of the U17 tournament which started last year has attracted scouts of multiple European clubs including AC Le Havre, Goztepe, Southampton, Zulte Waregem, AJ Auxerre amongst others.

ANAFOOT under the technical and managerial guidance of Cameroon football great Enow Ngachu has produced some exciting talents for home and foreign consumption though still in its embryonic stage.

Tournaments like the United Cup provides a platform for these talents to showcase and lure scouts.
