Achille Webo, the former Cameroon international, has officially joined Antalyaspor as their new assistant coach in the Turkish Super Lig

Achille Webo’s playing career spanned several continents and leagues, offering a wealth of experience that he now brings to his coaching role. He began his professional career with Club Nacional de Football in Uruguay, where he won two Primera División titles.
Moving to Europe, Webo played for Osasuna and Mallorca in Spain’s La Liga, scoring 47 goals in 227 matches. His journey continued in Turkey with stints at Fenerbahçe and Basaksehir, winning the Süper Lig title with Basaksehir in the 2013-2014 season.
Internationally, Webo represented Cameroon from 2003 to 2014, participating in two World Cups and two Africa Cup of Nations. His performance on the global stage showcased his talent and dedication to the sport.
After retiring from professional play in 2018, Webo pursued coaching, earning his UEFA PRO Licence. He served as an assistant coach at Istanbul Basaksehir and Ankaragücü, gaining valuable experience and honing his coaching skills.
