Recently-promoted Portuguese top-flight club Racing Power FC has signed a new three-year deal with exciting Cameroonian goalkeeper Michealy Kyria Bihina following her impressive first season at the club which culminated in promotion.
Michaely who was the club’s first choice keeper last season only joined from Eclair of Sa’a in Yaounde in the build up to that campaign and was outstanding in goal.
The outstanding display has convinced her employers to offer him an improved contract for the next three years.
Racing Power officials are preparing for the new season by making Michaely one of their first major signing.
Before moving abroad, Michaely had made her name as one of the best Cameroonian goalkeepers. He has upheld that reputation during his short stay in Portugal, thus explaining the increase in her stock.
The 19-year-old full Cameroon international has been out of the national team picture for the past year. Her recent exploits could be a strong bargain to secure a return to the team which gave her a first opportunity in 2021 during the 2020 Olympics qualifiers tie against Peru in Turkey.
