GPL: Mukwala brace inspires Porcupine warriors return to winning ways

Ugandan Steven Mukwala has scored two goals and assisted once as Asante Kotoko beat newly promoted side Kotoku Royals 5-1 on Sunday evening in the Ghana premier league .

The former URA forward struck first in the 21st minute after a foul in the
penalty box and took no mistake to convert from the spot.

In second half ,he added the second goal in the 62nd minute to make the scoreline 3#1 and later produced an assist to the ivorian midfielder Serge Eric Zeze.

He now takes his league scoring tally to 6 goals behind leading scorer Mezack Afriyie of Berekum Chelsea.

Mukwala was also named the nasco man of the match after the day’s fantastic performance.

Asante Kotoko win in Kumasi ends their four game winless streak and currently they sit second on league table one point behind Aduana stars after match day 14.
