Barrister Aloysius Seunang Awah has once again demonstrated his passion for football and commitment to community development after being honored by UK-based side CAMDER FC for his recent gesture of support during a visit to the United Kingdom.
The Managing Partner of Seunang Awah Law Firm, based in Limbe, Cameroon, was officially appreciated by CAMDER FC following his donation of three match-day footballs to the club’s veteran group. In a formal letter dated May 3, 2026, CAMDER FC President Emmanuel Muzang expressed the club’s gratitude, highlighting that the donation went beyond the value of the gift itself.
According to the club, Awah’s contribution reflects his dedication to youth empowerment, unity through sports, and community development. The footballs are expected to support the club’s training sessions and match activities while symbolizing the growing relationship between the Cameroonian football community at home and abroad.
Responding to the recognition, Barrister Awah expressed appreciation for the warm words from CAMDER FC and described his donation as a modest contribution. He noted that the appreciation letter represents an important step toward stronger collaboration between both parties.
“Though my contribution was small, your appreciation and kind words go far beyond gratitude and represent a great step toward collaboration with one another,” Awah stated.
He also praised the hospitality shown to him during his stay in the UK, revealing that although he did not get the opportunity to feature in matches with the club, the love and reception he received from CAMDER FC members left a lasting impression.
Awah further expressed his willingness to return to the United Kingdom and build stronger ties between CAMDER FC and Cameroon-based veteran football circles, particularly Treasure Veteran Club of Mile 4 Limbe.
A well-known football enthusiast, Barrister Aloysius Seunang Awah is widely recognized for his love of the game and his loyalty to English club Chelsea. Beyond being a fan, he has also served Cameroonian football in an administrative capacity as former Vice President of the Homologation and Disciplinary Commission of FECAFOOT Southwest.
His latest gesture underlines how football continues to serve as a bridge connecting Cameroonians across borders, strengthening both sporting and social ties through acts of goodwill and shared passion.
