Cameroon Elite One side Dynamo Club de Douala have confirmed the appointment of Jean Baptiste Bisseck as their new head coach following the departure of Simplice Soh.
In an official communiqué released on Monday, the club’s executive committee announced that Soh had stepped down from his role by mutual agreement after a review of the team’s recent performances during the first phase of the season. Dynamo currently sit mid-table, and the decision is seen as part of efforts to “re-energise the team.”
Bisseck, a former coach of the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon, takes over immediately and will be assisted by Belibi Ngolo Alexandre Thierry. The rest of the technical staff remains unchanged.
The club thanked Soh for his service and wished him success in his future career, bringing an end to a tenure that began with promise but faltered in recent weeks.
Dynamo also confirmed that the new coaching staff will be officially presented to the public on Tuesday, April 7, at the Tercocam Stadium in Douala.
The appointment of Bisseck signals a new chapter for the historic Douala-based club as they look to revive their campaign in the second half of the season.
