Yves Clement Arroga has stepped down from his position as head coach of Elite one club Panthere Sportive of Nde, after a year plus at the helm.

The experience and former intermediate Lions and Dynamo of Douala tactician, cited misunderstandings, interference in his technical choices and management as primary reasons for his resignation, adding that three months of unpaid salaries (January-March 2026) and other bonuses are contributing factors.

In letter to the Club’s hierarchy dated March 31, Arroga stated

“𝙄 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙝è𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙙𝙪 𝙉𝘿𝙀 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢. 𝙒𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢. His resignation marks the end of a successful stay at the west region-based club, after arriving at a crucial moment when the club was slowly sinking and he helped revive the club and eventually finished vice champions same year of experiencing that crisis.

Under his leadership, Panthere not only finished second in the MTN Elite One championship but won the Cameroon Cup and just recently backed another trophy( Cameroon Super Cup) though off the pitch.

A historic 2024-2025 year, considered the best in the club’s history and as new coach his ambitions were clear: to raise this team among the best in Cameroon and, why not and bring back glory days.

However, Panthère Sportive of Nde have not had a fine run in the league this season.
They are currently ranked 10th in the Elite one championship, with just 12 points recorded from 11 games.
