Decisions have been made by the Homologation and Disciplinary Committee of Fecafoot related to some cases tabled before the board since the start of the 2026/2026 Cameroon football season.
Six players of Dream team football club of Bamenda have been suspended from all FECAFOOT organized competitions for six months following a complaint filed on January 23, 2026, regarding the illegal possession of club equipments by the said club.
The players suspended are Iliasu Aminu, Malachie Nfor Che, Rudolf Njonmu, Briand Atanga, Richard Ebongue, and Sylvain Poualeu, and until they return the clubs’ equipments, they suspension would continue, else both the players and club come to a compromise.
The commission in another separate case has issued a strict warning to Stade Renard of Melong following a case brought against its player, Ngombe Aka for dawning a jersey with the name of another player imprinted on it, in their Elite One clash against Canon sportive of Yaounde on January 25th.
The commission declares that Stade Renard of Melong, is responsible for this conduct and Consequently, the committee issued a warning to Stade Renard. It was more of a scare than anything else as the match was officially recorded as a goalless draw.
Before kickoff of the opening match of the Elite One championship on January 24, 2026, in Bafang, Aigle Royal de la Menoua who went on to win the match 2 goals to zero, filed a protest regarding the eligibility of a player from Unisport of Bafang. Aigle contested that the player in question had not been released by his former club and thus shouldn’t appear for the West Region side, but after investigation, the Homologation and Disciplinary Committee declared the case inadmissible.
The case of Éclair de Sa’a who were absent for their first game of the Guinness Super League Season vs Dja Sport Academy was looked into by the commission. The Committee of Eclair de Sa’a explained that the match specifically February 9, 2026, in Odza saw the absence of their players due license issues not being up to date, after consideration, the dismissed the case and ordered a replay of the game.
