Aigle Royal of Menoua have appointed Anicet Stéphane Koung as their new head coach as part of a restructuring of the club’s technical staff ahead of the 2025–2026 MTN Elite One season.

The former head coach, Wamba Petit Michel, has been reassigned to the position of Technical Director, a move the club says is intended to strengthen long-term planning and player development.

Koung, who also serves as assistant coach of Cameroon’s Lions Indomptables A’, will lead the team from the touchline. He will be assisted by Guy Joseph Donwoung, previously with Bamboutos de Mbouda, Morocco Fodouop as second assistant coach, and Chombong Kinu Collins, the physical trainer of the Cameroon Lionesses U20.

Club officials say the changes are aimed at bringing fresh ideas and renewed ambition to the squad as they target improved performances in the domestic top flight.

Aigle Royal of Menoua recently gained continental experience by competing in the CAF Confederation Cup, but their campaign ended in the preliminary round.

The newly constituted technical team will take charge of their first training session on Tuesday afternoon at 14:00 local time at the CENAJES Stadium in Dschang, marking the beginning of preparations for the new season.

Supporters in Dschang and across the Menoua Division will be hoping the restructuring helps the club build consistency and challenge more strongly in Elite One.
