Spanish La Liga side, Getafe CF have finally registered Yvan Neyou on their list of players for the current La Liga season after over two months of failed trials.

The 28-year-old Cameroon international moved to the Madrid club over two months ago but could not be registered as the club’s player due to financial regulations laid down by the Javier Tebas led body.

Fortunately for Neyou, the sale of Christantus Uche to English Premier League club, Crystal Palace balanced their books and allow for them to register the former Leganes man.

Neyou, who spent two full seasons with the Pepineros and featured in 33 matches, scoring once and providing an assist in his final season at Leganes will now have to write a new chapter at Getafe.

The Reliable, combative, and praised for his reading of the game will play a key role in solidifying Getafe’s midfield with the experience garnered over the years.

Neyou is currently in Cameroon for his country’s crucial FIFA World Cup qualifiers matches against Mauritius Island and Cape Verde Island this early September before returning to Spain.

The former Saint Etienne playmaker could make his LaLiga debut on September 13 against Real Oviedo, before turning up against Barcelona in Camp Nou on September 21 in what will be his first big game in the colors of Getafe.
