Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo is now the subject of intense transfer speculation, with the club setting a hefty £50 million price tag as interest mounts from top Premier League clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Newcastle United.

Mbeumo, who joined Brentford in August 2019 from Troyes for a then-club record fee of £5.8 million, has developed into one of the most exciting talents in English football.

Since his arrival, Mbeumo has made a significant impact, playing a crucial role in Brentford’s promotion to the Premier League in the 2020-21 season. Over his five seasons at the club, he has amassed 184 appearances ,with over 50 goal contributions (29 goals and 21 assists), showcasing his versatility as both a forward and right winger.

His breakout season came in 2019-20 when he netted 16 goals and earned nominations for EFL Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year at the London Football Awards.

He has also featured in the Team of the Week card in FIFA 23. The 83-rated Cameroon and Brentford Right Winger boasts great pace and dribbling,
making him a dangerous threat on the wing.

Mbeumo’s international career with Cameroon adds another layer to his profile; he made his full debut in September 2022 and was part of the squad for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Africa cup of nations.

His performances have not gone unnoticed, making him a prime target for clubs looking to bolster their attacking options.
