Indomitable Lions of Cameroon head coach Marc Peter Brys has made wholesale changes to his squad of players selected for the two FIFA World cup qualifiers matches scheduled for later this month.

The squad released this Thursday, March 13 in view of upcoming games against Eswatini and Libya sees the return of Younoussa Wility of Rodez, Davis Epassy, Dawa Joyskim while Nathan Ngoumou and Danny Namaso Loader earned their first call-up.

In the latest squad announced in presser at the FECAFOOT headquarters, there’s no place for Jean Charles Castelletto and Fabrice Ondoa despite their recent form for FC Nantes and Riga respectively.

The coach has named three goalkeepers in Simon Omossola, Simon Ngapadouetnbu and Davis Epassy to join Andre Onana on goalkeeping duties.

In defense, Dawa returns for the first time in over a year to complement Enzo Boyomo, Michael Ngadeu, Jackson Tchatchoua, Nouhou Tolo, Guy Kilama, Christopher Wooh and Collins Fai.

The packed midfield department sees the inclusion of Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa despite his injury situation, Yvan Neyou, Carlos Baleba and Martin Hongla.

Upfront, captain Vincent Aboubakar leads a collection that includes newcomers Danny Namaso Loader, Nathan Ngoumou, plus 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) most valuable player Christian Bassogog, Moumi Ngamaleu amongst others.

Promising forward, Patrick Soko misses out of the squad due to an injury despite his form at Huesca in the weeks before he got injured.

There’s no place for a home based player, not even Nchindo John Bosco who was recently named best player in the country.
