Cameroon inherited Mauritania from the TotalEnergies CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations 2024 Qualifiers official draw was conducted on Saturday, 23 December at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
The process to determine the fixtures of qualifiers for next February’s finals had ten nations in it and produced some exciting match-ups, including the Cameroon versus Mauritania fixture.
Holders Morocco joined the highest ranked nations, Egypt and Angola to gain automatic qualification for the tournament, while the winners of the five ties will join them in an 8-nation competition.
The first leg of the fixtures will be played between 02 – 04 February while the return leg to make up the final 5 will be decided between 09 – 11 February.
The winners of the five fixtures will join the trio at the finals at a venue to be determined by CAF.
