Africa’s representative at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, and Morocco now know their group opponents after the draw ceremony on Wednesday.
Debutant, Cameroon will face host, Colombia, Australia, and Mexico in Group A of the tournament.
This will be the first time that the young Indomitable Lionesses will be taking part at this level of the Women’s World Cup.
Neighbours, Nigeria will meet three time winners, Germany in Group B in a repeat of 2010 and 2014 finals.
They will also meet South Korea and Venezuela in the group stage.
For Ghana, the Black Princess will square up with another former champions, Japan, New Zealand, and Austria in Group E.
Another debutant, Morocco are up against holders, Spain, the United States of America (USA), and Paraguay in Group C.
This will be the first time that Africa will be having four representative at the competition which will be hosted by Colombia.
