Bamenda-based elite two championship club, Foncha Street FC has maintained their elite two status for yet another season.
The team confirmed their status in the Elite Two championship next season after a one all draw with Renaissance of Ngoumou in their last match of the Elite Two Playoffs Down.
Njong John gave Foncha Street FC the lead from the penalty spot before Renaissance equalized with a quarter of the match left. However, they were able to pick up a point which keeps them in the Elite Two championship next season.
Prior to the match, Foncha Street FC caretaker coach Akosemoh Theodore tabled his resignation letter to the teams management citing several irregularities.
After qualifying for the elite two championship at the end of the 2019 national interpools in Bertoua, the team has fought against relegation in four of its five seasons.
Foncha Street FC finished the Elite Two Playoffs Down with 9 points.
Meanwhile, already relegated Rangers FC Bafut received a 7#0 spanking inflicted on them by Isles of Hope Sports Academy Limbe.
