- Fauve Azur Elite are among the few clubs that received subventions during the 2023/2024 season
- The club is now waiting on the federation to complete the subvention
The President of Cameroon Elite One club, Fauve Azur has announced that his team is still waiting for FECAFOOT regarding their subventions.
Nya Nobert made the announcement on Monday, July during the Ordinary General Assembly of the club held at its headquarters in Yaounde.
“We are still waiting to hear from FECAFOOT. I can say that clubs have not yet received all their subventions from FECAFOOT”, Nya Nobert said.
Majority of elite One and two clubs didn’t receive any franc as subvention or sponsorship rights for the 2023/2024 season. A situation that made it difficult for most clubs to function.
According to the Fauve Azur president, clubs that have not received have not justified what they received.
“But they say clubs that have not received this subvention have not justified what they had received before”
“We at Fauve Azur have submitted all justification documents for what we have received”, he added.
Nya Nobert exhorted the federation to ensure that the subvention gets to the clubs in due time to avoid disagreements.
Fauve Azur adopted the sun of 135.000.000FCFA as their budget for the 2024/2025 season and named Gabriel Haman as their new lead trainer, in replacement of Anicet Koung.
