31-year-old Eden Hazard has announced his international retirement from Belgium, on Wednesday, December 7,2022. This Following his country’s exit at the group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Hazard took to social media to break News of his retirement.
“Today l turn a page. Thanks for your love.”
“Thank you for your unparalleled support. Thank you for all the joyful moments we have shared since 2008,” Hazard concluded.

The former Lille and Chelsea attacker scored 33 goals in 126 games for his country. He reached the climax of his international career, during the 2018 Russian World Cup as he took Belgium the semi-finals.
His retirement doesn’t affect his club career as he will keep pushing for better days during his time at Real Madrid FC.
