Elite Two club Bafmeng United, has confirmed that they have appointed Anumewa Frankline as their new head coach for the 2024/2025 football season.
The club announced on their Facebook page on Wednesday August 14, 2024, that the experienced coach has signed a one season deal, with an option to extend for a another season.
“Bafmeng United is pleased to confirm that coach Anumewa Frankline has joined the club on a one season deal, with an option to extend for a further season . The former PWD, Rangers and Foncha street FC coach, joins us with a chunk of experience”, a post on the club’s Facebook page read.
Coach Anumewa Frankline spent last season with PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda as deputy coach and later interim head coach. During his spell at PWD, he helped the team survive relegation.
With Bafmeng United missing Elite One qualification last football season, coach Anumewa Frankline takes over a team that have as their main objective this season an elite one ticket.
The 36-year-old coach has previously managed Rainbow FC of Bamenda, Foncha street FC, and Rangers of Bafut to qualify for the elite 2 championship.
He comes in with a lot of experience, after stints at Yong Sports Academy and most recently PWD of Bamenda.
