Played at the Municipal Stadium in Mbouda, the match counted for the 7th day of play of the MTN Elite One championship.
Lekunze Kelvin Tah scored against his former club Fauve Azur as early as the 3rd minute of the match to give Yong Sports Academy an early lead.
The Faya Boys restore parity thanks to an own goal from Ade Mienolf at the 34th minute of the match.
Both teams went back into the dressing room at half time with a goal on either side.
Upon resumption of the second half, Coach Ndikum Blaise brought in Cheson Liobinho, Fang Englebert and Che Denis.
The substitution paid off at the 62nd minute of play when Nguimbat Junior found Cheson Liobinho who unleashed a thunderbolt shot to give YOSA the lead.
Yong Sports Academy continued dominating the match and from a counter attack, Fang Englebert found Nchindo John Bosco who fired pass goalkeeper Morel Findo Ondobo as YOSA cruised into a three one lead.
The victory is YOSA’s first for the season since Coach Blaise Ndikum was appointed head coach.
