Cameroon Elite one side Aigle Royal of the Menoua, have beaten Eding Sport of Lekie 1#0, in one of day 16 games of the Elite one championship.
Second half substitute Serge Bengono, netted the lone goal of the game at the 53rd minute, as Aigle secured an important win away in Yaounde.
The game played at the Olembe Annex A stadium had seen both sides return to the dressing rooms zero goal apiece at pause.
Coach David Pagou introduce Bengono before the start of the second segment and he made an instant impact, when he scored at the 53rd minute. Though the goal scorer was forced off due to an injury, Nga Christian Mvogo and his teammates stayed focused and secured all three points of the encounter.
Aigle are now on the longest active unbeaten run in the Cameroon Elite one championship, where they have gone 118 days without a defeat.
The last time Aigle suffered a defeat was on November 13, 2022, when they were beaten 3-0 at the Bamendzi stadium by PWD of Bamenda.
During the past 118 days, the team coached by David Pagou, has recorded four wins and five draws, in nine games.
Their nine games unbeaten run currently, is the longest active by any team in the Cameroon top tier.
