Cameroonian football giants Canon Sportif de Yaoundé have announced KTL Sport Wear as their official kit supplier for the 2025/26 season, in a deal set to run for one year with the possibility of renewal.
The agreement was formalised at a press conference on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, at the club’s headquarters. According to Guy Siewe, Canon’s Marketing and Communications Director, the partnership comes after extensive negotiations with several potential suppliers, with the goal of meeting the needs of the team and its supporters.
KTL Sport Wear was chosen not only for its quality and accessibility but also as a proud Cameroonian brand,” Siewe said. “This partnership aligns with our commitment to supporting local industry while providing the best for our players and fans.”
KTL’s rise has been rapid and notable. The brand first broke into the spotlight in the 2021/22 season, when ISOHSA, wearing KTL kits, won the National Interpools in Yaoundé. Since then, the brand has gone from strength to strength, supplying top-tier and historic clubs such as PWD, YOSA, Colombe, Astres, Fovu, Sable de Bâtie, as well as popular sides like Ita Mbong, FC Ebolowa, and other Guinness Super League teams.
The contract was signed by Serge Noah, Canon’s General Manager, and Khouam Teyou Liboire, the promoter of KTL Sport Wear. Beyond commercial interests, both sides emphasised shared values of excellence, passion, and love for the game.
KTL Sport Wear, already involved with Canon’s youth teams and several clubs in Cameroon’s Elite One and Elite Two leagues, now adds the first team to its portfolio. Players posed with the new kits at the launch, which will also be available for fans in the coming weeks.
This collaboration marks a significant step in Canon’s efforts to modernise its brand and strengthen ties with local partners, ahead of what promises to be a competitive 2025/26 season.
