The Intermediate Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will face MTN Elite club championship sides Fauve Azur Elite and APEJES of Mfou in their first two warm up games this Saturday at the CAF Excellence Center in Mbankomo.
This information was revealed by Camerfootinfos.com this Thursday, stating the games will be part of coach Soh Simplice’s test of the capacity of the 30-man squad currently in camp to prepare for December’s African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier tie against Central Africa Republic.
The games scheduled for 1pm and 3pm will provide an opportunity for players in the squad in camp to battle for their place in the games scheduled on December 23 and 27.
This camp marks Simplice’s inaugural assignment since taking the helm, and he faces the challenge of selecting players based on last season’s performances due to the league’s delayed restart.
The players who will have an outstanding performance in this camp will be summoned again in the final preparations for the tie.
