The Cameroon football federation (FECAFOOT) has published graphics works announcing the draw ceremony of the 2022/23 MTN Elite One championship title play-offs and the 32nd final of this season’s Cup of Cameroon.
FECAFOOT has scheduled both events on Thursday, May 4, in the studios of the Cameroon Radio and Television (CRTV)
The draw for both competitions will be conducted by the commission in charge of national and international competitions. The event will be aired on the CRTV from 2PM.
Elite One debutants Gazelle FA, historic Bamboutos FC of Mbouda and Canon Yaounde plus holders and record winners Cotonsport will be in the draw for the title play-offs.
The mini competition between the best two sides from each Pool in the 20-game season will run from May 14-21 in Douala.
Cotonsport won the Elite One championship last year and qualified for the CAF Champions via a groundbreaking play-offs tournament that was held in Garoua.
The cup of Cameroon fixtures will be made from the 64 teams in the 32nd final draw. The Elite 34 Elite One and Two championships clubs will compete with the other clubs from the Regional and divisional championships in the ten regions across the country.
Cotonsport won the cup of Cameroon last season after edging Bamboutos FC 1-0 in the final.
