The Isle of Hope sports academy (ISOHSA) management has made available the sum of USD 4,000 as bonuses ahead of the team’s historic show-down against Elite one side, Colombe.
The money comes as motivation for players of the team created only under a decade ago.
ISOHSA’s journey has been staggering as they have taken out heavyweights; Canon, Stade Renard and Unisport of Bafang, to book an unprecedented semi finals slot against Colombe.
Colombe of Dja and Lobo – who have been around the Elite One championship for a long time meanwhile, are trying to get the “near success syndrome” off their path.
The men of coach Richard Towa are yet to back home a major trophy since its creation. At this same stage last season, Colombe bowed out of the last four after post match penalties, to eventual champions Fovu.
In his own words, ISOHSA vice president, Angu Lesley, has opined that the investment of 4,000 usd equivalent to 2 millions is to put the lads in high spirits.
