The team coached by Stéphane Ndzana will make its debut in the continental competition after a successful 2023 domestic season where they clinched both the League title and the cup.

In the group stage, Lekie FF will contend with tough opponents: CSM Diables Noirs from Congo (match on August 21) and TP Mazembe from DR Congo (scheduled for August 23). CSM Diables Noirs is also a first-timer in the CAF Women’s Champions League, aiming to leverage their UNIFFAC zone experience for a spot in the final tournament.

TP Mazembe, a well-known name in African football, their men’s folk have secured five CAF Champions League titles. They’re determined to replicate their success in the women’s competition, having qualified for the UNIFFAC zonal qualifiers by winning the Linafoot Féminine, DR Congo’s top women’s league.

Fresh from retaining their Cup of Cameroon title (despite losing the league to FC Ebolowa), Lekie FF is ready to make an impression. The UNIFFAC zonal qualifiers will unfold in Kinshasa, DR Congo, from August 16 to 24, with matches hosted at the Stade des Martyrs and Stade Tata Raphaël. The mini-league winner will represent the UNIFFAC zone in the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League.
