In the lead-up to this crucial match, Buea United eliminated last season’s finalists, Kumba City Council, with a 3-2 victory, earning their place in the semi-finals.
Buea United, under the guidance of Coach Emmanuel Agbor, has had an impressive season, finishing among the top teams in their group and securing their spot in the mini interpools—the second Buea-based team to do so after Mount Cameroon FC in 2018.
