Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) registered wins against Avion Academy of Limbe and Best Stars Academy of Limbe over the weekend in two warm up matches counting for their preparations for the coming season.
Coach Joseph Mbock Maput’s team came from a goal down to beat Avion Academy in a interesting five-goal contest against Avion on Friday at the Middle Farms Stadium
Goals from Akono Mendo plus U-20 Lions duo Arrey Jefta Oduak and Simo Gedeon handed the win to coach Joseph Mbock Maput’s team in the exciting contest watched by football fans dominated by ISOHSA faithfuls.
Though it was a great display of attacking efforts with the likes of Eben Tomi, Ayong Mukete and Ngai Emile showcasing a lot. Nko Ghangle and Mbeng Joel also showed a lot defensively.
The team followed the Friday result with another 3-2 win against Best Stars at breakfast time on Sunday courtesy of goals from Jean Pierre Lemo Junior, Ngai Emile and Akono Mendo for the second game running.
The two wins marks an improvement for the ISOHSA team that started their preseason with a 1-1 draw against the same opponent.
The club counts four victories, three draws and a defeat in eight pre-season matches so far this season.
ISOHSA have been pooled in an exciting Pool A alongside the likes of Aigle Royal of Menoua, Fovu, Bafmeng FA, USA, Eding Sport, Djiko, TKC amongst others.
They are expected to play against Tad Sport Academy this week as they continue to build up for their second season in the Cameroon second tier championship.
The club will standby on match day one before starting their season away to Tonerre Kalara Club on December 21 in Yaoundé before returning home to welcome Eding Sport de la Lekie a week later.
