Thousands of Central African Republic supporters have arrived Douala, Cameroon’s economic capital ahead of Central African Republic’s ahead of their historic AFCON qualifiers match against Angola.
Having left Bangui on Wednesday June 14, 2023, the fans are coming to Douala Cameroon to support the Central African Republic as they go in search of their first AFCON participation.
The Central African Republic will play against Angola on Saturday June 17, 2023, at the Reunification Stadium in Douala as from 2:00pm. Victory for the Central African Republic will qualify them for AFCON 2023 in Cote D’Ivoire.
Placed in Group E of the ongoing qualifiers, Central African Republic is currently ranked second in the group with 7 points, 2 ahead of Angola who are third with 5 points. Ghana tops the group with 8 points and Madagascar is last with just a point.
