Cameroonian new catch Che Malone Fondoh Junior and Leandre Willy Esombe Onana have joined their new club colleagues of Simba SC at their Turkish camp this week.
Both players arrived at the camp over the weekend and immediately joined their mates in training after the traditional team adoption rituals.
Che who joined the club from Cotonsport of Garoua and Midfielder Onana who walked through the NguvuMoja doors from Rayon Sports FC are expected to add value to their segment of the team as their Brazilian coach Robertino continues to build a squad to challenge archrivals Yanga SC’s two-year dominance of the Tanzanian Premier League.
Che, Onana, recently signed Fabrice Ngoma and other new recruits are expected to complement the players retained from last season to mount a push beyond the second place finish achieved last year.
Though Onana is not as popular back home, his switch to Simba SC alongside Che has made him more attractive as both players pull Cameroonian Simba for the Dar Es Salaam Lions.
The new Tanzanian Premier League championship starts next month, but besides that Simba is engaged in three other competitions including the CAF Champions League whose preliminary rounds starts in August as well.
