277 Athletes and a quorum of the members of the University of Buea (UB) fan club left the Southwest capital city this Wednesday, April 26 en route to Ngaoundere for the 2023 University games expected to run from April 29 to May 6.
Maitre Simb, the head of the Sports department at the institution led UB athletes expected to compete in Basketball, Football ,Handball, Judo, Table Tennis, Boxing , volleyball, Athletics, Beach Volleyball and Fan club.
They are expected to arrive Ngaoundere on Thursday April 27 and finalize formalities to engage in the competitions.
The UB team is expected to compete in at least ten disciplines during the 23rd edition of the All-Varsity games as the Sports and culture festival returns for the first time since 2019.
Vice Chancellor professor Ngomo Manga Horace and Pro Chancellor Edward Ako Oben and other members of the administrative staff are expected to join the UB entourage on Thursday.
The University of Buea contingent in Ngaoundere will be complete in. Ngaoundere by Thursday, April 28.
