Leopard Sportive of Douala have picked up three points against AS Lausanne in Match day 19 of the Cameroon Elite two championship, courtesy of a goal from Solomon Nsoh.

The game staged at the Bepanda Reunification stadium, saw Nsoh open scores for Leopard from a 30meters drive, to beat Boris Tchamba on goal. The opener was scored at the 15th minute of play.

The striker who has not been a regular starter for Leopard, made good use of this chance giving to him as part of the first eleven in this encounter against visiting Lausanne, to score the lone goal.

Lausanne were evidently wasteful in front of goal, squandering opportunities to get an equalizer. A glaring chance was when a cross taken saw team captain smartly grab it but sent it to the waiting hands of Eugene Nkoue.

A resilient Leopard side was witnessed this afternoon, dominating more than half of the first 45 minutes and kept the one goal lead until the end of the first segment.

A second half triple substitution was done by coach Jean Baptiste Bisseck, Aldophe Muandjo, scorer of three goals for leopard this season, Franky Essombo and Cedric Sighe to reinforce his attack and midfield compartment.

Solomon Nsoh almost got everyone on their feet again when he exhibited a show of class and experience on the ball, dribble-pass two defenders, fooled Tchamba, and tried to lob in but unfortunately, the ball went on to hit the bar instead.

Another controversial incident denied Lausanne an equalizer following a technical fault from goalkeeper Essome who had possession of the ball after picking it up but failed to quickly get it off his hand before Froland Mbiteck chipped it off his hands to sent it to the back of the empty net.

However, the goal was denied, considered to be a foul on the goalkeeper after a few minutes were squandered to concert with the assistant referees, though the second assistant indicated it was a goal.

The final whistle was blown few minutes after the scene that caused Lausanne go home without a point.

Despite the defeat, Lausanne are five places away from Leopard who sit 9th on the classification table with 23 points after suffering a defeat to Dynamo FC in the last encounter.
