Spanish club C.D Leganes Cantera have on Monday evening confirmed the signature of Uganda cranes left back Aziz Kayondo.

“CD Leganés incorporates the left back Aziz Kayondo, international with the Ugandan national team, for its subsidiary. The young player was voted best left back at the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

Aziz Kayondo is a full international with the Uganda team, and is also considered one of the best promises in Africa. At the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations he was voted the best left back. He began his career with Vipers FC of the Uganda First Division. He then signed with MFK Vyskov in the Czech Republic and was immediately loaned out to Real Monarchs in the MLS Next professional league in the United States.

The club wishes him the best of luck in this new stage as a pepinero.”

Kayondo ,becomes the second Ugandan to join the club after recent Ibrahim Juma move in January.
