Former Kogi United Assistant Coach joins Charlesann FC

Charlesann FC, Lagos has appointed Lawal Jimoh Wasiu as the team’s new Head Coach.

The experienced gaffer joined the academy after a recent stint as the Head Coach of third-tier Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO1) side, Easywell FC of Sagamu, Ogun State.

Former 36 Lions, Grays International FC of Kaduna, Requins FC of Cotonou, NAF Rocket FC of Abuja, US Koroki FC Dutchamba of Togo, and Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi goalkeeper has previously served as the Assistant Coach of Kogi United FC.

He started his coaching career as a coach-player with Esan United FC of Uromi, Edo State during the 2008/2009 season before joining Kwara Football Academy, Ilorin as the Chief Coach from 2010 to 2011.

Added to his experience is managing clubs like Imperial Soccer Academy (Assistant Coach), ABS FC (Assistant Coach), African Touch Soccer Academy (Head Coach), and PSI International Limited Football Club (Head Coach).

Other teams managed include Talent Football Academy (Head Coach), MKA FA (Head Coach), Knight FC of Ile Ife (Head Coach), and Aweskim FA.

His wealth of experience is expected to help steer the ship of the team.
