Morocco and Paris Saint-Germain star Achraf Hakimi has publicly addressed the legal case surrounding him, saying he has remained silent for years out of respect for the justice system but is now ready to tell his side of the story.
In a statement shared on social media, Hakimi revealed that he has been waiting for the trial since the beginning and believes the judicial process will allow the truth to emerge.

The 27-year-old admitted that the prolonged public scrutiny has affected him personally, saying he sometimes feels like he has become “an easy target” and that narratives are being created at the expense of his family, his life and, above all, the truth.
Hakimi explained that he chose patience and dignity throughout the process, trusting that the right decisions would eventually be made. Now, with the trial approaching, he says he is looking forward to finally speaking publicly and presenting his version of events.
