In what seemed to be almost a night of celebration for fans of West ham United, Bryan Mbeumo continued his fine form by cutting short the joy with a decisive pass that snatched a point for Manchester United deep into added time, separating both teams on a 1-1 scoreline.

West Ham who took the lead in the 50th minute through Tomáš Souček, looked set to grab all three points after taking their lead into stoppage time. A win that was very much needed to keep them away from the danger zone. The heartbreaking moment came at the 95th minute when Bryan Mbeumo’s swift pass to Benjamin Sesko paid off and the latter netted, canceling West Ham’s hopes of maximum points, more so at home.

However, West Ham puts an end to United’s four match unbeaten run, a draw which boost their chances of survival despite the setback of Sesko’s stoppage time equalizer.

The draw leaves Manchester United fourth on the classification table with 45th points. While West Ham leads the bottom three with 24pts.

It is also worth noting that West Ham haven’t lost to Man United since February 2024, with Man Utd scoring just two goals in those meetings.

Nonetheless, United came into this game holding on to a few striking previous stats, one of which is Bryan Mbeumo hasn’t lost a Premier League away game since December 2025.

Mbeumo has faced West Ham eight times in his career and never suffered a defeat. He has been on the winning side six times and drawn two. He has also scored four goals and provided one assist in those eight matches.

The Cameroon international headed into this away game after already attaining the 10 goal contribution with Man United in the premier league a single season. He now has nine goals and two assists.

Five of Mbeumo’s Premier League goals for Manchester United have come against ‘Big Six’ sides; Liverpool, Tottenham, Man City, Arsenal, confirming him a Big game player and one who shows up when it matters most.

Already, Bryan Mbeumo has made a remarkable impact since joining the Red Devils and has quickly proving himself as one of the league’s most valuable talents, particularly a Gem secured by United, underlining Bryan’s growing influence in United’s attack with an absolutely stunning finishing ability.
