The artist behind the popular hit “Pas des boys” has confirmed his presence at the official kickoff of the Cameroon Football à 7 Championship, Zone 3 (Littoral), adding star power to the season opener at Douala’s Stade Annexe de Bepanda.

The musician is set to feature on Saturday, 24 January 2026, when the Littoral Zone 3 campaign gets under way from 15:00, in what organisers describe as a celebration of football, youth culture and community engagement.

His appearance is expected to draw a strong turnout for the opening day, with the Association Camerounaise de Football à 7 (ACFA7) banking on the blend of sport and entertainment to give the growing seven-a-side discipline a vibrant start in the region.

The championship will kick off with a fixture between Cartes d’Électeurs and AJBCFC Les Destructeurs, setting the tone for a competition that continues to gain popularity in Douala and beyond.

For the artist, whose song “Pas des boys” has resonated strongly with young audiences, the event represents another opportunity to connect directly with fans while supporting grassroots sport initiatives.

Organisers have confirmed that entry will be free and open to the public, urging football lovers and music fans alike to attend and experience what they call “football autrement”.

Football à 7 has seen rapid growth in Cameroon in recent years, and the Zone 3 Littoral championship is viewed as a key platform in strengthening its presence, with Saturday’s opener combining competition and culture in the heart of Douala.
