The Union of Central African Football Federation (UNIFFAC) via a release issued on September 8,2025 by its interim executive director, Remy Martial Zogo has summoned 24 Women FIFA accredited Referees from the zone to participate in the upcoming Women’s CAF Champions League competition scheduled for September 17-29 in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.

The list includes upcoming talented Referee from Cameroon, Ntangti Innocentia alongside compatriot Djonreba Adeline who join CAR duo Kenga Leticia Ines and Korezembi Barbara amongst others in a line up that counts two officials per country with the exception of hosts Equatorial Guinea counting three in Mangue Ayang Martha, Ndoue Meyala Marta who are Assistant Referees accompanying Mba Abegue Concepcion named as a Referee.

In a bit to assure a perfect blend between the upcoming and already grounded officials, experienced Chadian duo Omaje Ndingadal and Bit Oumarou Aicha, Ayom Carine of DRC, Ngoma Agnes of Congo have all been drafted as part of the crew of arbitrators and assistants.

The selected officials are expected to all assemble in Malabo on September 15 to finalize their preparation for the competition with the help of their instructors.

This season’s preliminaries already have a taste of something different as the five clubs that have entered the competition makes it the most popular edition since inception.

Hosts Equatorial Guinea will be represented by 15 Agosto de Akonibe in the competition that have FC Ebolowa from Cameroon, FC M’Sichana of the DR Congo, Chad’s TP Elect-Sport Djamena and Amical Club Colombe of Congo.

Regular TP Mazembe Ladies from DR Congo are not in the preliminaries this time around because their status of last season’s champions in the continental showpiece guarantees them a berth in the upcoming finals.

During the two weeks of competition, the five clubs participating are expected to battle it out for the lone preliminary round spot allocated to UNIFFAC.

The zonal champions at the end of the competition will join TP Mazembe in the continental finals whose host nation is yet to be made public.

TP Mazembe girls have won all but one of the previous editions of the competition with the only exception being in 2023 when Hurricanes Ladies of Equatorial Guinea clinched the title on home soil.
