President Alphonse Bea has stepped down from his role as president of Dynamo of Douala with immediate effect.
Mr Bea informed the club of his decision to quit on August 5, bringing an end to his three-year stay at the end of the Bona Ba Njob.
Though president Bea didn’t announce the reason dor his decision to quit the club, some close observers have it thay, disagreements between him and the rest of the decision makers over the use of the proceeds of the transfer of Leonel Ateba Mbida to USM Alger.
Some school of thoughts have it that Mr Bea who is a civil servant is fed up with pumping cash into the game and not getting returns on his investment.

Mr Bea took over as the club president in 2022, replacing former player Isaac Sinkot who had been at the helm of the club for just around half a decade and was battling almost every season to keep the multiple cup of Cameroon winners afloat in the second tier championship.
The outgoing president improved the image of the institution and guided them to promotion to the top-flight championship during his short time in charge.
Dynamo are historically noted for instability at the helm of the institution and that has affected the success of the club for decades.
