Heartland head to the far North for an intriguing tie against Katsina United in the opening tie of the NPFL Matchday 23 fixtures slated for Friday, February 7th, 2025 at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina.

The Naze Millionaires are going into the tie at the back of a comprehensive 2-0 home win over former NPFL champions, Rivers United as they stretched their unbeaten record to four games since 29th December 2024 in the concluding fixture of the first stanza and have garnered eight points in the last four games.

The first Friday fixture for the Owerri side this season could birth a remarkable and riveting game in far away Katsina with the renewed Naze Millionaires going with an objective to keep their unbeaten record intact and add more points to the season’s tally.

The fans however will have the privilege to see the game live on Television via Startimes as from 3pm on Friday.

Heartland’s defender Chinedu Ozor understands the challenges posed by the Mohammed Diko Stadium having played for Katsina United before heading South.

Captain Christian Molokwu will be unavailable for this tie due to suspension arising from yellow cards from previous games but there are able players to take his place as the team strive to form an impregnable defence that the Chanji Boys would find difficult to penetrate.

The Naze Millionaires are determined to continue to maintain the momentum even in his absence which affords an opportunity for another to step into his shoes.
