Christian Bassogog delivered an impressive performance, scoring two goals in Al Akhdood’s commanding 4-0 victory over Al Oroba on Thursday, October 31, during Matchday nine of the Saudi Pro League.
The match commenced with Mali’s Ibrahima Koné converting a penalty at the 45+5 minute mark, giving Al Akhdood an early lead. Bassogog then showcased his striking ability by doubling the score in the 64th minute.
Saeed Al-Rubaie added a third goal in the 81st minute before Bassogog capped off the scoring with his second goal just two minutes later.
These goals marked Bassogog’s first contributions since joining Al Akhdood, bringing his season tally to two goals and one assist across seven appearances. Additionally, he has scored three goals in all competitions this season, including a goal for Cameroon against Kenya.
