  • ISOHSA of Limbe added Toh Maurice to their frontline for the coming season
  • During his three years stay at Rainbow FC Toh Maurice developed a reputation as the forward particular for scoring screamers
  • He nutmegged a Best Stars Academy of Limbe defender before firing past their keeper in a 1-1 draw in a friendly last week Sunday

Limbe-based MTN Elite Two championship side Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe have completed formalities, signed and registered talented striker Toh Maurice from Rainbow FC of Bamenda after a successful tryout.

The 2024 Cup of Cameroon semi-finalist have tied down the 19-year-old till the summer of 2026 as part of efforts to improve their attacking department for the coming season.

The move marks the end of the forward’s three-year relationship with Rainbow FC and provides him a first Elite football opportunity.

Toh, who impressed during the two-weeks tryout period under supervision of coach Mbock Maput was contracted by the club 48 hours before closure of the summer window.

The forward who scored in the only pre-season friendly so far, against Best Stars Academy of Limbe is expected to improve the frontline of coach Mbock’s team throughout the 2024/25.

Per goals scored, ISOHSA was the offensive club in the MTN Elite One and Two championship last season, scoring 45 goals in the domestic championship. Unfortunately, they have to do without 15-goal man Ikose Njuma and Egbe Tiku Albert whose transfers to Colombe of Dja and Lobo and Union Sportif of Douala are pending financial compensation to be effected.

Toh,Talikong Elwood Bantar, Sawai Kelly and co have these big boots to fill in this coming season and have so far shown glimpses of the potentials needed to thrive in Elite Two.

So far ISOHSA have signed Alfred Mbita Nkom from Dragon Yaoundé, Jean Pierre Lemo Junior from Renaissance of Ngoumou, Randy Che from Canon Yaoundé, Agbor Bessem Bogard from Astres of Douala amongst other high-profile acquisitions in prelude to the new season.

ISOHSA will participate in the 17-club MTN Elite Two championship expected to start later this month or in early November.
