Felix Oukine and Al Khor have gone their separate ways after months of inactivity
The former Cotonsport player’s contract was terminated by the club this February 4,2024, six months after he joined them from Raal La Louvière in Belgium.
After a disappointing season in the Belgian 3rd division, where he only played four games, Oukine faced an even harder situation in Qatar, as the 24-year-old received no playing time.
After his contract termination, the former Elite One champion is looking to relaunch his career and achieve his potentials.
According to Africa Foot,he has been in talks with several teams from Egypt, Poland, Tunisia, and UAE.
Oukine started his career at Coton Sport, where he won two Elite One titles and one Cameroon Cup.He led them to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2020-21, scoring a crucial goal against Green Eagles in the first round.
Oukine made his international debut for Cameroon in January 2021, in the opening match of the 2020 African Nations Championship, hosted on home soil.
He played in all six games of the tournament, scoring one goal against DR Congo in the quarter-finals. He helped the intermediate lions reach the semi-finals, where they lost to Morocco. He also played in the third-place playoff, which they lost to Guinea. He has six caps and one goal for Cameroon.
